Our Red Angus and Hereford cattle are raised humanely and naturally on our family farm in New Bloomfield, Missouri. To us, natural is doing what is right for our cattle and our land. This has been an integral component of our operation since the beginning. We believe in transparency, from our family’s farm to your family’s plate. We are committed to following humane handling practices for our cattle every step of the way, from birthing to processing. We do this to ensure the best quality beef for your family. Being your beef producer is something we take very seriously, and we thank you for choosing us! We strive to provide the best possible care for our animals to deliver the best tasting pasture-raised, corn-finished natural Missouri beef for you and your family.
RED ANGUS AND HEREFORD CATTLE
The majority of our herd is Red Angus and Hereford. We raise these breeds for their calm demeanor and docility. These breeds are also maternal breeds, meaning they make excellent mothers who produce fast-growing calves. The Red Angus and Hereford breeds are also known for producing beef with excellent marbling, tenderness, quality grade, and flavor.
HORMONE FREE
While all animal-based foods contain naturally occurring hormones, we don’t believe in altering our herd with growth-promoting hormones. Red Angus are known for their tenderness, robust flavor, superior marbling and consistent size. Even though supplemental growth hormones in cattle have been shown to pose no risk to human health, we prefer to let nature run its course when it comes to delivering superior beef to our customers.
